Just a reminder that the Department Family BBQ is happening THIS SATURDAY!
Thank you to the many folks who confirmed their attendance, it looks like we’re going to have a great turn-out. If you didn’t have chance to RSVP, don’t worry – there will be room and food for all, including gluten free and vegetarian options. The more the merrier!
Details
This event is BYOB. As per liquor license standards, we need to have the alcohol at the event “posted.” Therefore, if possible, please bring the receipts from your alcohol purchase to the event with you to the BBQ. We know it’s not ideal, and don’t anticipate needing to see the receipts or experiencing any problems, it’s a just-in-case safety measure.
This will be a family-friendly event with fun for all ages including bagpipes, a 61 foot obstacle course, lawn games, great music, and… AXE THROWING!
The barbecue will begin at 3pm with no formal end time – folks are invited to secure babysitters if they’d like to return after their little ones’ bedtimes. In the evening we’ll cozy up around campfires, so please bring enough lawn chairs to make your family comfortable.
When: Saturday, June 1st, 3pm – late
Where: Druid’s Clubhouse, 23360 Township Road 524A, Sherwood Park
What to Bring: BYOB and lawn chairs
Please send us a message using the form below if you have any questions.
