It’s flu season! Many of us are feeling under the weather and can’t make tonight’s SCFPSA meeting. Fortunately, SCFP Spouse Kari Couture has proposed a brilliant idea: today at 4:20pm, she will be live streaming the event from our Facebook group. This means everyone interested will be able to watch the meeting in real time; she’ll be able to see who has virtually “joined” the meeting by viewing the live stream, and if you have any questions or thoughts to add to the topics discussed, you can type them out and Kari will act as the live-streaming rep, reading out your comments, questions, or ideas to the group.
We really hope you join in the discussion. Executive President Andrew Spence will be in attendance to answer questions about existing resources for our members and families and some topics of discussion will include a community discretion policy, upcoming events, and an outreach program (big thanks to Heather Barlow for her efforts in organizing the meeting format).
If you are reading this information but are not yet part of the secret facebook group, please contact us using the contact tab on this website or, if you are receiving this information by email, just reply to this message. We will find you on facebook and invite you to the group. Once there, you’ll be notified that Kari is live – please tune in!
Thank you Kari for suggesting this great plan and for volunteering your time!
