Local 2461’s Executive Board was so impressed with the basket put together to thank our event coordinator, Stephanie (and welcome her baby boy) that they asked us to compile a second as a goodwill gift to one of our local MLAs, whose family also recently welcomed a child.
SCFP Spouses Courtney and Robin have taken the lead on spearheading this project, and they put together a beautiful basket of goodies to showcase the talents and generosity of our community with the message, “May your family, like ours, always know the warmth of community and the protection of our First Responders.”
While funds for the basket directly supported the “makers” in our community, most contributed to the basket at deep discounts. For this we want to thank contributing business owners and celebrate their talents:
Raw Sheen Designs (Roisin Thomas)
Scrunchie Sisters (Fire Kids, Annabelle and Cosette Montemurro)
The Sweet Artisan (Courtney Pytyck)
