Share Your Shit Friday (#SYSF) is an initiative to invite members of our community to share what’s going on in their world whether in the realm of personal, business, or volunteerism. Of course, members are welcome to share at any time, but #SYSF just encourages those who might be somewhat shy!
This week SCFP Spouse Robin has put out an invite to all members of our group. She writes:
“Meal Prep Time” (5 meals to freeze)
Hello Spouses,
I mentioned this at our last meeting and it’s AWESOME! I think it would be great for us Spouses – it’s saved my butt a few nights, lol. Here’s the info:
I know everyone is super busy and I’m trying to reach my friends (so I don’t miss anyone)….but I’m having a “meal prep Tupperware party” !
It’s at my house, she does all the Prep, set up and clean up….it’s all fresh food and we just put our meals together.
There are 5 stations, so 5 meals (all proteins for suppers) and you get to keep the Tupperware that each meal goes into, plus a $25 credit for Tupperware (no minimum purchase), let me know if you’re interested or want to come…if there’s any food restrictions just leave out that ingredient or you can bring anything u want to add.
Here is the info for my meal prep party: it’s March 3rd (Sunday) from 2-4pm – super awesome and good quality meals!

To ensure we have the freshest ingredients, please be sure to etransfer by Feb 26, 2019
***Please bring a bag or laundry basket to bring your meals home in***
Here’s an example of my meal prep I did a few months ago, it’s for a family of 4, but for my family of 6 we had leftovers: Beef Bulgogi with added broccoli on rice.

On the business side of things, SCFP Spouse Cassie has started a pet sitting service! Cassie writes:
Hey ladies. I was previously working in Stony Plain, and Steve and I had a really hard time being around for our pets with the extended hours away from the house. I quit my job in January and started up a pet services business. Right now I am offering dog walks, check-ins/let-outs as well as short-term boarding. Steve and I have fostered over 30 dogs within the last 2 years and are very comfortable with different breeds, sizes, temperaments, etc. I just thought I’d throw this out there in case any of you are stuck and need some help with your animals. Our facebook page is Mutt Heads Pet Services. If you have any questions please let me know.

Cassie has recently launched a website for her business and we’ve added her information to the Business Directory. Please check out the listings and help support SCFP’s Fire Families!
And on the ADORABLE side of things, SCFP Spouse Kimberly wants to share a beauty of a Valentine’s Day gift while supporting the extended family of our own! Kimberly writes:
A fun #SYSF. I’ve been waiting to share these for weeks! Had them done as a surprise for Trevor (I’m a sucker for Valentine’s Day). Highly recommend Pixels by Capri Photography, sister of fire family (SCFP Spouse), Alex. I’m a bit obsessed right now.
Hope everyone has a safe and warm long weekend!
