Edmonton Police Services Wives Association President Tammie Hermosura would like to extend welcome to Strathcona County Firefighter Paramedic Spouses. She writes,
We would like to invite you and your members to our next meeting. It is on February 19, 2019, 6:00pm – 8:00pm at the SE Division Station Community room (104 Youville Drive, Edmonton). This meeting will be about Fatigue and Fatigue Management. The speaker will be Stacey Richards who is a Naturopathic Doctor with SMRT Health. She is an incredible doctor that will be speaking on how fatigue affects you and will speak on how it can affect first responders and the people in their lives and also how to manage that. Here are links if you would like to read more about her, http://www.smrthealth.com/dr-stacey-richards/http://www.smrthealth.com/
If at all possible I have asked our membership to have RSVP’s in to me by February 11, 2019. If you have any members interested they are more than welcome to join. We will have snacks but we are unable to provide childcare because it is at a division station. We feel that fatigue and fatigue management is a huge issue within first responder families and think that all of us could benefit by adding another tool to our belt
EPSW have been excellent friends to our membership in the past, gifting us the Private Resources list and aiding in the production of our Membership’s gift from Circle of Angels. If you would like to attend this workshop, please contact SCFPSA Spouse and Communications Lead Katie using this website’s contact form or [email protected]
